WHAT DO YOU FEEL WHEN YOU READ THE TITLE “2012 HAPPY SOLUTIONS…..NOT RESOLUTIONS!”? Does it bring a sense of relief…. aahhh happy solutions rather than resolutions; more attempts at control and change that most often lead to failure and discouragement? Soothing solutions rather than unmanageable resolutions.
These title words were part of a conversation playing in my head while I was enjoying a very late breakfast on the verandah overlooking a typical Australian bush reserve; tranquil yet life-full.
‘HAPPY SOLUTIONS NOT HARSH RESOLUTIONS ENCOURAGING YET MORE DISCIPLINE’.
I became enthused by such inner counsel, so I very quickly set up my computer and began recording what I knew was sweet information that would assist me with all I planned to accomplish this year.
HERE ARE THE WORDS I WROTE and remember you are listening in. This sweet information does hold intent, so it may not suit you, your life style or spiritual convictions. Keep what feels right for you and disregard what is not for you. I am just happy to share the generous spirit that speaks to me from within. Of course it all me; the sweet information and the generous spirit, as indeed are you. All part of Lifes’ mystery and magic!
HAPPY SOLUTIONS NOT RESOLUTIONS for 2012. That conversation went something like this:-
♥ BEGIN WITH SPIRIT – Are you listening to a ‘higher’ more balanced voice within or listening to inner whining. Develop a relationship with that part of you that seeks the highest good for all, including yourself. Your Spiritual self then becomes your best friend. And loneliness becomes a thing of the past.
♥ CHECK YOUR BRAIN – how is the health of your brain? Do you feed it good brain nutrition – brain food? What thoughts, images, movies do you input which become part of what your mind plays back to you? There is so much scientific information available about the health of the brain. This puts you in the driving seat when it comes to your brain’s chemistry.
♥ TAKE YOUR HEART TEMPERATURE – Is peace joy and love oozing from your heart into every corner of your being and out into the Universe? Do you store unpleasant experiences and let them fester into resentment, anger and even hatred and violence. Only you can choose the state of your heart!
♥ MEET WITH YOUR BODY – Listen! What is it trying to tell you? ‘Love me!‘ The body loves to experience joy and be gently mastered by a human being that is on purpose. Not just busy or financially successful, but one that is congruent within and without; balance in life where no one area dominates another. The body of such a being can entrain to such a state and return to its first nature.
♥ RELEASE CREATIVITY – Try new ways of releasing your creative potential. Take an art class or just start drawing. You’d be surprised by what you are good at. And be kind but disobedient when you hear yourself say ‘I can’t do that’ or ‘ I wouldn’t be any good at that’. Say ‘YES’ more often!
♥ STALK YOUR JOY – Discover what makes you joyful and stalk it as if you where hypnotized. This is a 24/7 job which will reward you not only with ‘happy’ brain chemistry, but also with friends who enjoy your joyfulness! As you become good at stalking your joy, the whole world benefits. You will be creating a more joy-filled planet. No need to find a greater purpose!
♥ CIRCLE YOUR FRIENDS – Encourage unity among your circle of friends by encouraging activities, spiritual social and adventurous, that create opportunities for oneness and celebration. Group hugs!
♥ LEAD WITHOUT POWER – Become your ‘community’ leader, sharing with others what you have already put into practise. Lead without the use of power, coercion or even a hint of manipulation. Use stillness instead of force. Your own harmony and balance is magnet enough. Use enthusiasm and the purity of your joy. In other words, lead by example but be generous with your presence by being available!
♥ LAUGH – AND THEN LAUGH AND THEN LAUGH SOME MORE! Join a laughing group or start a laughing group in your area. Watch funny clips and movies. Tape yourself and someone else laughing your heads off and then play it back often. Keep your laughter practise up until you come easily to laughter and you become contagious!
I am wowed by the clarity and focus of these 2012 happy solutions, not resolutions. There is much here for me to incorporate into my daily life. And this post serves as a diary entry which I can view on the eve of 2013. My next post is just that. It is about looking back over this last year from the vantage point of a letter I wrote to myself early in 2011. Much has changed for my good. I say thank you.
